The Movie-Making After School Club Workshop in Novi Sad, Serbia

The Movie-Making After School Club Workshop was started three years ago and since then a number of students have learnt the basics of movie-making under the guidance of Šandor Šetalo and Nikola Sekerić, professors at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and their students from the Department of Dramatic Arts.

The children are taught practical film skills, such as script writing, camera operation, directing and editing, as well as acting and performance skills. They also improve their teamwork and social skills, but most importantly, they become aware of the role and potentials of different media in civil society.
